SURVEYS

D. Thomas Marine's Naval Architects, Marine Engineers, Port Captains are qualified and experienced in carrying out all kinds of ship
surveys (condition surveys, draft surveys, damage surveys, statutory surveys, underwater surveys, vetting surveys etc).
Our staff is fully committed to ensure that during assignments their performance is to the utmost satisfaction of our clients.
Furthermore, we guarantee the confidentiality of any information obtained when performing a survey.

  • Nautical Inspector Services/CAS Surveys
    The Marshall Islands Maritime Administrator has appointed our company as an Authorized
    Representative and Surveyor

    • to inspect vessels registered under the Marshall Islands flag.

    • to provide pre-registration inspections.

    • to investigate incidents involving vessels registered under the Marshall Islands flag.

    • to monitor and oversee the Condition Assessment Scheme Surveys on behalf
      of the Administration.

    • to review and make recommendations on the CAS final report prepared by the
      vessels' Classification Society.

  • New Buildings Attendance
    To assist our clients, we offer for new building project highly skilled human resources Naval Architects, Marine Engineers
    and qualified Machinery, Electrical, Hull and Paint inspectors, organize the site supervision for all construction period.
    The Site Team is responsible for all technical aspects of the building procedures and the supervision. The inspections are
    fully covering all the parts of the building project and prepare all the necessary documentation.

  • Conversions and Repairs Attendance
    Over the last decade, our Technical Superintendents have attendance various conversions i.e. double bottom tankers to
    double hull tankers and repairs off all types of vessels in shipyards worldwide.
    Their extensive experience in the hull, piping, machinery, paints, outfitting, etc, guarantees the efficient support to your
    company and the smooth co-ordination leading to quality and timely completion of the projects assigned.

AUDITS

To assist our clients for better implementation of their Safety
Management System on board the managed by them vessels,
qualified ex Marine Officers and well educated personnel on
ISM Guide and requirements, carry out audits on board vessels
and Office assessment of ISM implementation.

TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT

Our group may fully support Shipping company's needs, and undertake the complete TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT of their fleet,
