A joint venture between D. Thomas Marine Hellas S.A. and "CS Marine Technology Corp.",Shanghai/China,  was established with
the aim of supplying services to shipping.

The main activity of our joint venture is to provide turn key solutions to ship-owners who are interesting on New Buildings in China.

1. Our services start from the initial negotiation stages between ship-owners and the yard. We are capable to supply owner
   information about yard reputation, history, financial status, key persons, technical evaluation of the spec supplied and comparison
   with other proposals, and we may assist owner's brokers to achieve the best possible contract prices.
   Our Chinese partner is familiar with many yard top level officials therefore price wise we can always achieve something better than most Western/European agents.
   This also applies to the contract stage, as our deep knowledge of the local market and people will help you avoid possible
   "loopholes" in your deal.
    

2. In case owners wish to modify existing yard's design, we may prepare an alternative, discuss with the yard about the
   cost, and arrange for timely approval by the relevant Classification Society.
   In case you require a completely new design of your own and a reputable shipyard in China to built it, we may
   undertake the whole process as we have done for many other owners in the past.
   Chinese designs nowadays are the lowest in price worldwide.
    

3. Using the experience of our Chinese partners, we may assist in the Makers List by selecting among various equipment,
   having in mind not only the price but also the reliability, and serviceability of the products through out the vessel's life.
    

4. We may undertake the plan approval phase, by reviewing and commenting on the Shipyard's drawings and documents
   related with the new construction and follow up of the technical correspondence in-between Class, Shipyard and Makers.
    

5. Site Team
   We may arrange for your site team that will attend the whole building project, and would be responsible for all the technical
   aspects of the building procedures and the supervision.
   The inspection would fully cover all the parts of the building project.
   The site team will ensure the highest quality control on behalf of the owners, attend the sea trials, and check all relevant
   guarantee items, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of the vessel to the owners.
